In line with Methodist Church suggestions, we are now reopening our churches in a COVID safe way. If you would like to attend you will need to book a space in advance and abide by our new safety measures. Please contact the Church Steward for more details.

Worship as a circuit is still being offered in the form of both a video service on Sunday on individual church Facebook pages and the Circuit website and a printed service that can be posted to people who do not have access to the internet. Please contact Joanne Cummins orpingtonschislehurst@gmail.com or 01689 639185 and leave a message with your name, address and email if you would like to receive either of these.

All church administrators are working from home as far as is practical.

All groups should cease to meet with immediate effect. Any monies paid in advance for bookings will be held as a credit against future use, or can be refunded as soon as is practical.

Welcome to the Orpington and Chislehurst Methodist Circuit. We are a friendly family of 8 churches serving communities in south-east London/Kent with a membership that spans all ages. We are part of the wider Methodist Church in Britain. At the centre of our church life together is a focus on Our Methodist Calling: Worship, Learning & Caring, Service and Evangelism.

“We will share the gospel of Jesus Christ in the context of a variety of styles of worship and witness, working together with our ecumenical partners to serve God and the community”

Whether you are looking for a place of regular worship, to get married, to get baptised, or just looking for a place to meet and socialise with other like minded people, we hope we have something to offer to all.

We also have a variety of Circuit activities during the year where all 8 churches come together to allow us to grow in our faith together, get to know one another better and enjoy common interests.

Whether you are just visiting our area or are looking for a more permanent spiritual home, we would be delighted if you join us for local or Circuit events – you are sure to be given a warm welcome!
